NFL Week 11 Betting Preview and Trends

The San Francisco 49ers may no longer be undefeated but they’re still big favorites heading into a Week 11 Sunday matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

The 49ers are a 10.5-point home favorite at Bovada Sportsbook. Last week San Francisco suffered its first loss, falling to the Seattle Seahawks 27-24 as a 6.5-point favorite. As a double-digit favorite, the 49ers are 7-2 straight up and 3-6 against the spread in their last nine, which includes losing four straight ATS.

The Cardinals lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-27 last week but won ATS as 5.5-point underdogs to improve to 5-1 ATS in their last six. They’re also 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11.

In Week 9, the 49ers defeated the Cardinals 28-25 as a 10-point favorite. Before that loss, Arizona had won eight straight against San Francisco while going 5-3 ATS.

Bucs have covered spread in only 1 of last 6 at home

If you’re looking for road favorites this week, two that stand out are the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots.

The Saints are 5.5-point favorites at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New Orleans was shocked by the Atlanta Falcons last week, losing 26-9 as a 14-point favorite to snap a six-game winning streak both SU and ATS. New Orleans has been a strong bet on the road at 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in its last six, and 10-2 SU and 9-3 ATS in the last 12.

Tampa Bay defeated the Cardinals 30-27 last week but failed to cover the 5.5-point spread, dropping its fifth straight ATS. At home, the Buccaneers are a lousy 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six.

In Week 5, the Saints defeated the Buccaneers 31-24 as a 3-point favorite. In their last seven games in Tampa Bay, the Saints are 5-2 SU but only 3-4 ATS.

Eagles 8-2 ATS in last 10 games vs Patriots

The Patriots are 4-point road favorites vs the Philadelphia Eagles. New England is coming off its bye after suffering its first loss of the season the previous week, falling to the Baltimore Ravens 37-20 as a 3-point favorite. That snapped a 13-game winning streak during which the Patriots were 10-3 ATS.

The Eagles are 6-1 SU and 3-3-1 ATS in their last seven home games. They’re also 4-2 SU and ATS in their last six as a home underdog. Philadelphia has won its last two games against New England, both as the underdog, and is 8-2 ATS against the Pats in their last 10 matchups.
