NFL Week 12 Betting Preview and Trends

Week 12 in the NFL begins on Thanksgiving with the annual tripleheader.

First on the Thanksgiving schedule is the Chicago Bears at the Detroit Lions as a 4.5-point favorite at Bovada Sportsbook. Game 2 on Thursday is the Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys as a 7.5-point underdog. The Redskins are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four road games and in their last 11 games in Dallas they’re 9-2 ATS. The Cowboys lost to Washington 20-17 as a 1.5-point favorite in Week 7, but they’re 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five vs Washington.

The late game after the Thanksgiving feast is the New Orleans Saints hosting the Atlanta Falcons as a 13.5-point favorite. The Saints have won nine straight while going 8-1 ATS, and they defeated Atlanta 43-37 as a 1.5-point underdog in Week 3. At home the Saints are 12-1 SU and 7-6 ATS in their last 13. The Falcons are 5-0 ATS in their last five as a double-digit underdog, and in their last seven games in New Orleans they’re 2-5 SU and ATS.

Eagles 8-1 SU, 6-3 ATS in last nine vs Giants

On Sunday the struggling Philadelphia Eagles host the New York Giants as a 6-point favorite. The Eagles are 2-5 SU in their last seven and 2-7 ATS in their last nine. Philadelphia crushed the Giants 34-13 as a 1.5-point favorite in Week 6 and in its last nine against New York is 8-1 SU and 6-3 ATS. The Giants have won four straight ATS on the road.

On Sunday night, NFC North rivals clash when the Minnesota Vikings host the Green Bay Packers as a 3-point favorite. Minnesota is 9-2 SU in its last 11 at home and 6-4-1 ATS. Green Bay has lost seven straight on the road while going 1-5-1 ATS. In Week 2, Minnesota and Green Bay tied 29-29. The Vikings were a 1.5-point favorite, and in their last six vs the Packers they’re 4-1-1 SU and 4-2 ATS.

Week 12 concludes Monday night with the Tennessee Titans at the Houston Texans as a 4.5-point underdog. The Titans are 6-3 ATS in their last nine, but on the road they’re 3-6 SU and 4-5 ATS in their last nine. Houston has won seven straight at 4-3 ATS, and at home against Tennessee has won six in a row while going 5-1 ATS.
