NFL Week 12 Thursday Betting Odds Preview

The annual Thanksgiving Day NFL tripleheader arrives Thursday starting with an NFC North clash between the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions.

Chicago has lost five straight while going 4-1 against the spread following last week’s 16-13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens as a 1-point underdog. Detroit remains winless at 0-9-1 SU but is 6-4 ATS after losing to the Cleveland Browns 13-10 as a 13.5-point underdog last week. Detroit has also paid as an UNDER bet at 7-1 UNDER in the last eight games. At home, the Lions are 1-15 SU and 7-9 ATS in their last 16 games.

In Week 4, Chicago defeated Detroit 24-14 as a 3-point home favorite. In their last seven games against the Lions, the Bears are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS.

Dallas has been solid spread bet at home

Also on Thanksgiving, the Dallas Cowboys host the Las Vegas Raiders as 8-point favorites. Dallas is 1-2 SU and ATS in its last three games after falling to the Kansas City Chiefs 19-9 as a 2.5-point underdog last week. At home, the Cowboys are 6-1 SU and ATS in their last seven games.

The Raiders has dropped three in a row SU and ATS following last week’s 32-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals as 2-point underdogs. Las Vegas is a lousy 2-6 ATS in its last eight games but as a road underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five.

The Cowboys have won their last three games against the Raiders with a 1-1-1 ATS record. In the last eight games against opponents from the AFC West, Dallas is only 2-5-1 ATS.

OVER has hit in 6 of Saints’ last 7 games

In the late Thanksgiving game, the Buffalo Bills visit the New Orleans Saints as 6-point favorites. Buffalo is 2-3 SU and 1-3-1 ATS in its last five games after getting blown out by the Indianapolis Colts 41-15 as a 7-point favorite last week. As road favorites, the Bills are 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS in their last seven, and 10-3 SU and 8-5 ATS in their last 13.

New Orleans has lost its last three games with a 1-2 ATS record following last week’s 40-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles as a 3-point underdog. The Saints have been a solid OVER play for totals bettors at 6-1 OVER in their last seven. As a home underdog, the Saints are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games.

In this matchup, the Saints have won five straight both SU and ATS.
