NFL Week 18 Betting Preview

A win will secure a playoff spot for several teams in Week 18 of the NFL season, including in the Saturday matchup between the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts.

Indianapolis is 9-7 SU and ATS and is coming off a 23-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders as 3.5-point favorites. At home the Colts have won three straight with a 3-1 ATS record, but as home underdogs they’re 1-6 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven.

In Week 2 Indianapolis defeated Houston 31-20 as 1-point underdogs. In their last seven versus the Texans the Colts are 5-1-1 SU and 4-3 ATS.

Buccaneers road favorites taking on the Panthers

On Sunday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can clinch the NFC South division title with a win when the visit the Carolina Panthers as 5.5-point road favorites.

Tampa Bay is 8-8 SU and 10-6 ATS after last week’s 23-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints as 2.5-point favorites. On the road the Buccaneers are 4-4 SU and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games, but as road favorites they’ve lost four straight ATS.

Carolina is a league-worst 2-14 SU with a 5-10-1 ATS record after last week’s 26-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars as 3.5-point underdogs. The Panthers are 1-8 SU and 4-5 ATS in their last nine, and as home underdogs they’re 5-5 SU and 6-3-1 ATS in their last 10.

In Week 13 Tampa Bay defeated Carolina 21-18 as 3.5-point favorites. In their last 10 versus the Panthers the Buccaneers are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS.

Packers sit as chalk in Sunday matchup with Bears

The Green Bay Packers are a win away from clinching a playoff spot as they face the Chicago Bears as 3-point home favorites

Green Bay is 8-8 SU and ATS following last week’s 33-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings as a pick’em. The Packers are 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS in their last seven games and have been a solid OVER wager lately with six straight OVER results.

Chicago is 7-9 SU and 8-7-1 ATS after last week’s 37-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons as 2.5-point favorites. The Bears are 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five games. On the road they’re 1-4 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five.

In Week 1 Green Bay defeated Chicago 38-20 as 1-point underdogs. In this matchup Green Bay has won nine straight both SU and ATS.

AFC East title on the line in the Sunday night game

And on Sunday night the Buffalo Bills can punch their ticket to the playoffs and win the AFC East if they can beat the Miami Dolphins as 3-point road favorites.

Buffalo is 10-6 SU and 6-10 ATS after last week’s 27-21 win over the New England Patriots as 15-point favorites. The Bills have won four straight at 2-2 ATS, and as road favorites they’re 7-3 SU and 4-5-1 ATS in their last 10.

Miami is 11-5 SU and 10-6 ATS and is coming off a 56-19 loss to the Baltimore Ravens as 3-point underdogs. At home the Dolphins are 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games, and they’re 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five as home underdogs.

In Week 4 Buffalo defeated Miami 48-20 as 3-point favorites. In their last 10 against the Dolphins the Bills are 9-1 SU and 4-5-1 ATS.
