Quaker State 400 Betting Odds Preview

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Kentucky Speedway on Sunday for the Quaker State 400.

After posting another win last week to pad his lead atop the standings, Kevin Harvick is the favorite at Bovada Sportsbook this weekend at +350. Harvick posted his fourth win of the season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last week. He has never won at Kentucky in nine career starts, but he has cracked the top 10 on six occasions.

Favorite Harvick coming off fourth series victory at Brickyard

Following Harvick on the odds at Bovada are Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin, both at +500, and Kyle Busch at +600.

Elliott and Hamlin are also both winless in their careers at Kentucky. Elliott finished third in 2017 in his lone top-10 finish on the track, while Hamlin has finished in the top five a total of four times.

Busch is still winless on the season after finishing sixth at Indianapolis last week. At this point in the season a year ago, he had already racked up four wins. He has had success at Kentucky in the past with a pair of wins, in 2011 and 2015. In his nine career starts at Kentucky, Busch has finished in the top five seven times.

Along with Busch, other drivers with multiple wins at Kentucky include Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski.

Truex won consecutive races at Kentucky in 2017, 2018

Truex won back-to-back races at Kentucky in 2017 and 2018. Outside of those two wins, he has only one other top-10 finish at Kentucky. At Bovada, Truex is listed at +750 to win again this weekend.

Keselowski leads the field in wins at Kentucky with three. He took the checkered flag in 2012, 2014 and 2016. Besides his three wins, he has one other top-five finish at Kentucky. At Bovada, he’s a +825 underdog to win this weekend.

The rest of the top 10 on the odds list at Bovada is comprised of Joey Logano at +825, Ryan Blaney at +1200, Alex Bowman at +1600 and Jimmie Johnson at +2500.

Last year at Kentucky, Kurt Busch was a surprise winner, posting his first career triumph on the track. If he can make it back to back at Kentucky this weekend, he’ll do it as a +2800 underdog.
