Rose, Sugar, & Fiesta Bowl Betting Preview

On New Year’s Day college football delivers three major bowl games, including the Rose Bowl featuring the Utah Utes and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Utes are 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS in their last seven bowl games, and 14-3 SU and 11-6 ATS in their last 17. As a bowl game underdog they’re 5-1 SU in their last six.

Rebels favored over Bears in Sugar Bowl

In the Sugar Bowl the Mississippi Rebels will face the Baylor Bears as 1.5-point favorites.

Mississippi was 10-2 SU and 7-4-1 ATS this season. That includes going 7-1 SU and 5-3 ATS in their last eight games. The Rebels have posted seven straight UNDER results for total bettors.

In their last 13 bowl games the Rebels are a successful 11-2 SU and 10-2-1 ATS. As a bowl favorite they’ve won five straight at 4-0-1 ATS.

Baylor was 11-2 SU and 9-4 ATS this season. In the Big 12 Championship Game they defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys 21-16 as a 7-point underdog. The Bears are 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games, and they’ve posted four straight UNDER results. As an underdog they’re 6-2 ATS in their last eight.

Fighting Irish favorites in the Fiesta Bowl

In the Fiesta Bowl the Notre Dame Fighting Irish face the Oklahoma State Cowboys as 2.5-point favorites.

Notre Dame was 11-1 SU and 9-3 ATS this season. They head into their bowl game on a seven-game winning streak SU and ATS. In their last 30 games as a favorite Notre Dame is 30-0 SU and 19-11 ATS.

The Fighting Irish are 6-5 SU and ATS in their last 11 bowl games and 6-13 SU and 7-12 ATS in their last 19. As a bowl game favorite they’ve won three straight at 2-1 ATS.
