UFC 238 Betting Preview & Odds Roundup

The UFC returns to Chicago this weekend for UFC 238: Cejudo vs Moraes at the United Centre.

Headlining UFC 238 is a bout for the vacant UFC bantamweight title between Henry Cejudo and Marlon Moraes. At Bovada Sportsbook, Moraes is a slim favorite at -125, while Cejudo is a -105 underdog.

Moraes has won his last four fights to sit at 22-5-1 with 10 wins by knockout and six by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 144 in February when he defeated Raphael Assuncao by first-round submission as a -170 favorite.

Cejudo, the current UFC flyweight champion, has won four straight fights to improve to 14-2 with six wins by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 143 in January, defeating T.J. Dillashaw by first-round TKO as a +165 underdog in his first flyweight title defense.

Shevchenko huge favorite to defend flyweight title

Also on the line this weekend is the UFC women’s flyweight title, as champion Valentina Shevchenko takes on challenger Jessica Eye. Shevchenko is a massive -1200 favorite and Eye a +700 underdog.

Shevchenko is 16-3 with four wins by KO and seven by submission. She won the title in her last fight at UFC 231 in December, besting Joanna Jedrzejczyk by unanimous decision as a -330 favorite.

Eye has won her last three fights and owns an overall record of 14-6 and one no contest, with three wins by KO. She also last fought at UFC 231, where she defeated Katlyn Chookagian by split decision as a +170 underdog.

Ferguson seeking 12th straight victory

One other notable bout on the UFC 238 card is a lightweight fight between Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone. Ferguson is a -140 favorite and Cerrone a +110 underdog.

Ferguson has won 11 straight fights and is 24-3 with 11 wins by KO and eight by submission. However, he hasn’t fought since October 2018 due to personal issues. His last fight was at UFC 229 when he defeated Anthony Pettis by second-round TKO as a -420 favorite.

Cerrone has won his last three fights to sit at 36-11 and one no contest with 10 wins by KO and 17 by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 151 in May, defeating Al Iaquinta by unanimous decision as a +100 underdog.
