UFC 247 Betting Preview & Odds Roundup

A pair of UFC titles will be on the line this weekend when the Octagon heads to Houston, Texas, for UFC 247: Jones vs Reyes.

The main event Saturday night is a UFC light heavyweight title bout between champion Jon Jones and challenger Dominick Reyes. At Bovada Sportsbook, Jones is a -500 favorite and Reyes a +350 underdog.

Jones is 25-1 and one no contest with 10 wins by knockout and six by submission. He hasn’t lost in more than a decade, with his lone defeat coming in 2009 and that was by disqualification. His last fight was at UFC 239 in July when he defeated Thiago Santos by split decision as a -715 favorite.

Reyes is undefeated at 12-0 with seven wins by KO and two by submission. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 6 in October, defeating Chris Weidman by KO as a -210 favorite.

Shevchenko huge favorite to retain flyweight strap

Saturday night’s other title fight is a women’s flyweight bout between champion Valentina Shevchenko and challenger Katlyn Chookagian. At Bovada, Shevchenko is a massive -1400 favorite and Chookagian a +750 underdog.

Shevchenko has won her last four fights to improve her record to 18-3 with five wins by KO and seven by submission. Her last fight was at UFC Fight Night 156 in August as she defended her title with a win over Liz Carmouche by unanimous decision as a -1400 favorite.

Chookagian is 13-2 with two wins by KO and one by submission. Her last eight fights have all gone the distance. She last fought in November at UFC 244 where she defeated Jennifer Maia by unanimous decision as a -165 favorite.

Adams, Tafa seek bounce-back from upset losses

Also on the main card is a heavyweight bout between Juan Adams and Justin Tafa, with both fighters looking to rebound from upset losses. Adams is a -230 favorite in the fight while Tafa is a +180 underdog.

Adams has lost his last two fights to drop to 5-2, with all five wins by KO. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 4 in July when he lost to Greg Hardy by TKO as a -125 favorite.

Tafa is 3-1 with all three of his wins coming by KO. He last fought at UFC 243 in October, losing to Yorgan De Castro by KO as a -135 favorite.
