UFC Betting: Moraes vs Sandhagen Preview

The UFC returns to Abu Dhabi again this weekend as the Flash Forum is set to host UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs Sandhagen.

The main event is a bantamweight bout between Marlon Moraes and Cory Sandhagen. At Bovada Sportsbook, Sandhagen is a -135 favorite and Moraes a +105 underdog.

Sandhagen had a seven-fight winning streak snapped in his last bout, which dropped his record to 12-2 with four wins by knockout and three by submission. That loss came at UFC 250 in June to Aljamain Sterling by submission as a -130 favorite.

Moraes is 5-1 in his last six fights and sports an overall record of 23-6-1 with 10 wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at UFC 245 in December when he defeated Jose Aldo by split decision as a -200 favorite.

Featherweight favorite Barboza trying to reverse slide

Also on the main card this weekend is a featherweight bout between Makwan Amirkhani and Edson Barboza. At Bovada, Barboza is a -260 favorite and Amirkhani a +200 underdog.

Barboza has lost three straight fights and five of his last six to drop his record to 20-9 with 12 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 8 in May, losing to Dan Ige by split decision as a -160 favorite.

Amirkhani is 7-2 in his last nine fights and is 16-4 with 11 wins by submission in his career. He last fought at UFC 251 in July and defeated Danny Henry by first-round submission as a -222 favorite.

Rothwell -175 chalk over Tybura in heavyweight tilt

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a heavyweight bout between Ben Rothwell and Marcin Tybura. At Bovada, Rothwell is a -175 favorite and Tybura a +145 underdog.

Rothwell has won his last two fights but is still 2-3 in his last five, with an overall record of 38-12, including 28 wins by KO. He last fought in May at UFC Fight Night 171 where he defeated Ovince Saint Preux by split decision as a +105 underdog.

Tybura is 19-6 with sevens wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at UFC 251 in July, besting Maxim Grishin by unanimous decision as a -155 favorite.
