UFC Fight Night 167 Betting Odds Preview

The UFC sets up the Octagon in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, this weekend for UFC Fight Night 167: Anderson vs Blachowicz 2.

The main event is a rematch between light heavyweights Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz. At Bovada Sportsbook, Anderson is a -210 favorite and Blachowicz a +170 underdog.

Anderson has won his last four fights to improve his record to 13-4 with five wins by KO. He last fought at UFC 244 in November when he defeated Johnny Walker by first-round TKO as a +125 underdog.

Blachowicz is 6-1 in his last seven fights and overall stands at 25-8 with six wins by KO and nine by submission. In his last fight at UFC Fight Night 164 in November, he beat Ronaldo Souza by split decision as a -185 favorite.

Anderson and Blachowicz first fought at UFC 191 in September 2015. Anderson won that bout by unanimous decision as a -125 favorite.

Pereira favored over Sanchez in welterweight tilt

Also on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Diego Sanchez and Michel Pereira. At Bovada, Pereira is a -160 favorite and Sanchez a +130 underdog.

Pereira is 22-10 and two no contests, with 10 wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 158 in September where he was upset by Tristan Connelly by unanimous decision as a -585 favorite.

Sanchez is only 2-3 in his last five fights, and overall he is 29-12 with nine wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought at UFC 239 in July, losing to Michael Chiesa by unanimous decision as a +225 underdog.

Women’s flyweight foes focus on bounce-back

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a women’s flyweight bout between Montana De La Rosa and Mara Romero Borella. De La Rosa is a -175 favorite and Borella a +145 underdog.

De La Rosa is 10-5 with eight wins by submission and none by KO. Her last fight was at UFC Fight Night 154 in June when she lost to Andrea Lee by unanimous decision as a +144 underdog.

Borella is also coming off a loss that dropped her record to 12-6 and two no contests, with three wins by KO and four by submission. She last fought at UFC on ESPN 5 in August, losing to Lauren Murphy by third-round TKO as a -227 favorite.
