UFC Fight Night 170 Betting Odds Preview

The UFC heads south to Brazil this weekend as they’ll set up the Octagon in Brasilia for UFC Fight Night 170: Lee vs Oliveira.

The main event this weekend is a lightweight bout between Kevin Lee and Charles Oliveira. At Bovada Sportsbook, Lee is a -140 favorite and Oliveira a +110 underdog.

Lee is 2-3 in his last five fights, which has dropped his overall record to 18-5, with three wins by knockout and eight by submission. He last fought at UFC 244 in November when he defeated Gregor Gillespie by first-round KO as a +120 underdog.

Oliveira has won his last six fights to improve to 28-8 and one no contest, with eight wins by KO and 18 by submission. His last fight was at UFC Fight Night 164 in November, defeating Jared Gordon by first-round KO as a -475 favorite.

Burns, Maia come into bout on win streaks

Also on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Demian Maia and Gilbert Burns. At Bovada, Burns is a -200 favorite and Maia a +160 underdog.

Burns has won four straight fights and six of his last seven. His overall record stands at 17-3 with five wins by KO and eight by submission. He last fought in September at UFC Fight Night 160 where he defeated Gunnar Nelson by unanimous decision as a -125 favorite.

Maia has won his last three fights and sits at 28-9 with three wins by KO and 14 wins by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 162 in October, beating Ben Askren by third-round submission as a +120 underdog.

Dos Santos favored over Kunchenko

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos and Alexey Kunchenko. At Bovada, dos Santos is a -140 favorite and Kunchenko a +110 underdog.

Dos Santos is coming off a loss that snapped a seven-fight win streak. Overall he’s 21-6 with 14 wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 157 in August when he lost to Li Jingliang by third-round TKO as a -325 favorite.

Kunchenko is coming off the first loss of his MMA career, which dropped his record to 20-1 with 13 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 156 in August, losing to Gilbert Burns by unanimous decision as a -160 favorite.
