Week 10 NFL Betting Preview

The undefeated Atlanta Falcons are slight road favorites on the NFL betting lines for this week as they try to pick up their first ATS win over the New Orleans Saints since 2010. That early Sunday afternoon matchup highlights Week 10 of the NFL schedule.

Atlanta has dropped each of its past three games both straight up and against the spread against rival New Orleans, last beating them back in September 2010. This year, however, the Falcons are off to starts of 8-0 SU and 6-2 ATS, and at 5Dimes they were opened up as 1-point road favorites for their game in New Orleans on Sunday.

The Saints are 3-5 SU and 4-4 ATS on the season after getting past the Philadelphia Eagles by a 28-13 score on Monday night, and overall they've managed to win eight of their past 10 games against the Falcons. The OVER went 6-4 in those 10 contests.

The Eagles are now 3-5 SU and an ugly 2-6 ATS on the season after dropping the Monday nighter, and they opened as just 1-point home favorites at 5Dimes for their Week 10 game against the Dallas Cowboys late on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles have covered the posted spread in each of their last three games versus the Cowboys.

Thursday night this week has the Jacksonville Jaguars pegged as 3-point home underdogs against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts, with the Colts just 3-7 ATS over their last 10 games against the Jags stretching back through the Peyton Manning era. Indy is 5-3 both SU and ATS on the season; Jacksonvillle is 1-7 SU and 4-4 ATS.

Other games with home underdogs on the NFL betting slate this week are the Giants at Cincinnati (+4), Denver at Carolina (+3.5), and Detroit at Minnesota (+1). As well, the Texans vs. Bears matchup slated for Sunday night in Chicago is a pick'em at 5Dimes.

Big spreads can the be found around the rest of the schedule, with Tennessee at Miami (-7), Buffalo at New England (-12), Oakland at Baltimore (-9), the Jets at Seattle (-7.5), St. Louis at San Francisco (-12.5), and Monday's Kansas City at Pittsburgh (-13). As well, the Bucs are favored by three points at home against the Chargers on Sunday afternoon – Tampa Bay and San Diego have played to six straight OVERs since 1990.
