Week 11 NFL Betting Preview

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts have been a solid wager against the NFL betting odds so far this season, but they'll run into a tough road matchup on Sunday afternoon this week as they take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in one of the marquee contests on the Week 11 slate.

The Colts are 6-3 both SU and ATS through their first nine games of the season, putting them in the thick of the hunt for a Wild Card berth in the AFC. Still, they're pegged as 10.5-point road underdogs for Sunday at 5Dimes on the NFL betting lines against the Patriots – who are 6-3 SU and 5-4 ATS heading into the contest.

Luck, of course, has never faced Brady and the Patriots in his NFL career. New England is 5-5 SU but only 3-6-1 ATS over its past 10 games against Indianapolis, with the OVER paying out in six of those contests – including the last three since 2009.

The biggest underdogs of the week at 5Dimes are the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are getting 17 points on the road against the division-rival Houston Texans on Sunday. Houston is 4-0 both SU and ATS over its past four games against Jacksonville, with their last three matchups turning into UNDER results for totals bettors. The Texans are 8-1 SU and 7-2 ATS so far this season, while the Jaguars are 1-8 SU and 4-5 ATS.

The other games involving big favorites on the NFL betting lines at 5Dimes for this week are Arizona at Atlanta (-11.5), Cleveland at Dallas (-8.5), and San Diego at Denver (-8.5). The Broncos beat the Chargers 35-24 on the road as a 1-point underdog back in October, with the combined score of that game turning into an OVER result.

Thursday night's game this week is a pick'em on the NFL betting odds, with the Buffalo Bills playing host to the Miami Dolphins. As well, Sunday's Bucs/Panthers game in Carolina is also sitting as a pick'em at 5Dimes. The lone Sunday game off the board early in the week was Philadelphia at Washington, as Eagles quarterback Michael Vick suffered a concussion in the team's loss at home to the Cowboys over the weekend.

The rest of Sunday's schedule is then Green Bay at Detroit (+3), Cincinnati at Kansas City (+3), the Jets at St. Louis (-3), New Orleans at Oakland (+4.5), and Baltimore at Pittsburgh (-3). Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder on Monday night and isn't expected to be able to play this weekend.
