NFL Week 10 TNF Betting Odds Preview

Week 10 in the NFL kicks off Thursday night with an NFC West matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals.

The Seahawks are a 6.5-point road favorite at Bovada Sportsbook as they look to rebound from an upset loss to the Washington Redskins last week. Seattle was an 8-point favorite and lost to Washington 17-14. The Seahawks actually outgained Washington 437 yards to 244 yards in the loss, but couldn’t get the ball into the end zone. Russell Wilson completed 24 of 45 passes for 297 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Doug Baldwin led Seattle with seven receptions for 108 yards and a TD.

The Cardinals defeated the San Francisco 49ers 20-10 as a 2.5-point favorite last week. Drew Stanton completed 15 of 30 passes for 201 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Adrian Peterson was a workhorse in the win with 37 carries for 159 rushing yards, and Larry Fitzgerald caught five passes for 70 yards.

Last week’s loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Seahawks and dropped them to 3-2 against the spread in their last five. One possible bright side of that loss: Seattle is 8-0 SU and 6-1-1 ATS in its last eight games after losing as a favorite. On the road, the Seahawks have won their last two games straight up and ATS, but in their last eight they’re only 2-6 ATS. As a road favorite, they’re only 4-4 SU and 2-6 ATS in their last eight.

Arizona is 4-4 SU and 2-6 ATS in its last eight games. At home the Cardinals are 4-2 SU but they’re only 2-4 ATS in their last six games. As a home underdog, they’re a strong 6-3 SU and ATS in their last nine.

The last time the Seahawks visited Arizona, it was a defensive battle that ended up as a 6-6 tie. In the last nine matchups between the NFC West rivals, Seattle is 5-3-1 SU and 6-3 ATS. The road team has had the advantage in most of the recent matchups with a 4-0-1 SU record and 5-0 ATS mark in the last five.

For totals bettors, the Cardinals have gone UNDER the posted total in six of their last seven games. Seattle is also 7-3 UNDER in its last 10 games against NFC West opponents, while 10 of the last 13 games between the Cardinals and Seahawks in Arizona have gone OVER.
