NFL Week 13 Betting Preview and Trends

Riding a three-game winning streak, the Cleveland Browns will look to keep it going on Sunday when they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Browns are a slim 2.5-point road favorite against the Steelers at Bovada Sportsbook. Last week Cleveland made it three straight wins by crushing the Miami Dolphins 41-24 as an 11-point favorite. On the road the Browns have lost three straight both straight up and against the spread, and they’re 1-3 SU in their last four as a road favorite.

Pittsburgh has been a bad bet at home in December at 1-6 ATS in its last seven. The Steelers have been a strong UNDER play lately at 7-2 UNDER in their last nine games.

In Week 11, Cleveland defeated Pittsburgh 21-7 as a 3-point favorite. Before that loss, the Steelers were 7-1-1 SU and 4-4-1 ATS in their last nine vs Cleveland.

Texans are 1-5 ATS in last 6 as underdog at home

Two Week 13 matchups feature games between division leaders, starting with the New England Patriots at the Houston Texans as a 3.5-point road favorite.

New England is 15-1 SU and 11-5 ATS in its last 16 games following last week’s 13-9 win over the Dallas Cowboys as a 5.5-point favorite. On the road the Patriots are 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six, all as a favorite.

Houston edged the Indianapolis Colts 20-17 as a 3.5-point favorite last week, dropping the Texans to 1-4 ATS in their last five. As a home underdog the Texans are 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six.

The Patriots have completely dominated this matchup with eight straight wins over Houston, during which they’re 6-2 ATS.

One-loss Niners are 6-point dogs at Baltimore

The other matchup featuring division leaders is the San Francisco 49ers at the Baltimore Ravens as a 6-point underdog.

The 49ers routed the Green Bay Packers 37-9 as a 3-point favorite last week but remain only 2-3-1 ATS in their last six. However, as an underdog, the 49ers have won three straight both SU and ATS.

The Ravens have won seven straight while going 5-2 ATS, which includes a five-game ATS winning streak. At home Baltimore has won three straight at 2-1 ATS but is 2-6 ATS in its last eight at home.

The Ravens are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five vs the 49ers, and at home to San Francisco they’ve won three straight SU and ATS.
