UFC Betting: Overeem vs Volkov Odds Preview

Sandhagen favored over Edgar in bantamweight bout

Also on the main card this weekend is a bantamweight fight between Cory Sandhagen and Frankie Edgar. At Bovada, Sandhagen is a -400 favorite and Edgar a +300 underdog.

Sandhagen is a solid 8-1 in his last nine fights, which has upped his record to 13-2 with five wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought in October at UFC Fight Night 179 where he defeated Marlon Moraes by second-round TKO as a -150 favorite.

Edgar has dropped three of his last five fights and sports a record of 24-8-1 with seven wins by KO and four by submission. He last fought at UFC on ESPN 15 in August when he defeated Pedro Munhoz by split decision as a +205 underdog.

Underdog Reneau trying to reverse slide vs Chiasson

One other notable fight on the main card this weekend is a women’s bantamweight bout featuring Maria Reneau and Macy Chiasson. At Bovada, Chiasson is a -225 favorite and Reneau a +175 underdog.

Chiasson is 6-1 with two wins by KO and two wins by submission. She last fought at UFC Fight Night 167 last February, defeating Shanna Young by unanimous decision as a -365 favorite.

Reneau has lost her last three fights, dropping her record to 9-6-1 with five wins by KO and three by submission. She last fought at UFC on ESPN 11 in June and lost to Raquel Pennington by unanimous decision as a +170 underdog.
