College Football Week 7 Betting Preview
Week 7 of the college football season features a Top 10 clash between Pac-12 rivals as the No. 7 Washington Huskies host the No. 8 Oregon Ducks.
At the Bovada Sportsbook the Huskies are 2.5-point favorites. Washington is 5-0 straight up and 3-2 against the spread and is coming off a bye week. The Huskies have won 12 straight at 7-5 ATS, and 10 straight at home with a 7-3 ATS record.
Oregon is a perfect 5-0 SU and ATS this season following last week’s 42-6 win over the Stanford Cardinal as 27-point favorites. The Ducks are 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games, but as an underdog they’ve lost five in a row SU and ATS.
Last season Washington upset Oregon 37-34 as 12-point road underdogs. In their last eight road games against the Huskies the Ducks are 7-1 SU and ATS.
Fighting Irish small favorites hosting Trojans
Also on tap this weekend the No. 21 Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the No. 10 USC Trojans as 2.5-point favorites. Notre Dame is 5-2 SU and 4-2-1 ATS and is coming off a 33-20 loss to the Louisville Cardinals as 6.5-point favorites. Notre Dame is 6-2 SU in its last eight home games, but only 3-4-1 ATS. When favored they’re 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS in their last 10.
USC is 6-0 SU but only 2-4 ATS which includes losing three straight ATS. Last week they edged the Arizona Wildcats 43-41 as 21-point favorites. As underdogs the Trojans have lost nine straight with a 3-6 ATS record.
Last season USC defeated Notre Dame 38-27 as 4.5-point favorites. At home to the Trojans the Fighting Irish have won five in a row with a 4-1 ATS record.
Hurricanes are underdogs against Tar Heels
In the ACC this weekend the No. 25 Miami Hurricanes face the No. 12 North Carolina Tar Heels as 3.5-point road underdogs.
North Carolina is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS after crushing the Syracuse Orange 40-7 as 9.5-point favorites last week. When favored the Tar Heels have won five straight at 4-1 ATS and they’re 8-2 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10.
Miami is 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS following last week’s 23-20 upset loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as 19-point favorites. As underdogs the Hurricanes are 2-4 SU and ATS in their last six and on the road they’re 3-5 ATS in their last eight.
Last season North Carolina edged Miami 27-24 as 4-point road underdogs. In this matchup the Tar Heels have won four straight at 3-1 ATS and in their last nine home game versus the Hurricanes they’re 7-2 ATS.
