Orlando Defeats Washington 122-101 - Recap
The battle between the Magic and Wizards didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Washington was handed a 122-101 defeat on Wednesday at Capital One Arena.
Orlando was the ATS victor, as they covered the -3.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 222.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Orlando got 25 points from D.J. Augustin and another 20 points from Nikola Vucevic. D.J. Augustin contributed 9 assists, while Nikola Vucevic cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Washington got 27 points from Bradley Beal in a losing cause and another 15 points from Jordan McRae. Bradley Beal contributed 5 assists for the Wizards, while Anzejs Pasecniks had 10 rebounds.
The Magic hit the break winning 62-58 before taking care of business in the second half.
Orlando had a 52-46 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Orlando takes its act home to face Miami looking for another win. For Washington, they head home to face Portland.
