Hornets Fall 112-110 Against Toronto - Game Recap
Charlotte was victimized for 23 points and 11 rebounds by Terence Davis as the Raptors defeated the Hornets 112-110 in NBA action on Wednesday.
The Raptors earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -2.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 207.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Toronto got 23 points from Serge Ibaka and another 19 points from OG Anunoby. Patrick McCaw contributed 11 assists, while Terence Davis cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
The Hornets got a 27-point performance from Terry Rozier, who was supported by 26 points from Miles Bridges. Malik Monk had 7 assists in a losing cause for Charlotte, while PJ Washington grabbed 12 rebounds.
Toronto led at halftime, 60-55.
Charlotte won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 50-46.
Next game, Toronto takes its act home to face San Antonio looking for another win. For Charlotte, they head on the road to face Utah.
