Spurs Fall 130-109 Against Utah - Game Recap
The battle between the Jazz and Spurs didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as San Antonio was handed a 130-109 defeat on Sunday at AT&T Center.
Bettors who backed the Jazz were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -5.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 222.5.
Utah got 28 points from Bojan Bogdanovic and another 22 points from Donovan Mitchell. Donovan Mitchell contributed 9 assists, while Rudy Gobert cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.
San Antonio got 22 points from Keldon Johnson in a losing cause and another 19 points from DeMar DeRozan. Dejounte Murray contributed 5 assists for the Spurs, while Trey Lyles had 9 rebounds.
The Jazz hit the break winning 65-51 before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 57-45.
Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face Brooklyn looking for another win. For San Antonio, they head on the road to face Los Angeles.
