Suns vs Hornets Final: 101-97 - Recap
The Suns got a 35-point performance from Devin Booker as Phoenix handed Charlotte a 101-97 defeat on Sunday at Spectrum Center.
Phoenix did not, however, defeat the Hornets against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 219.0.
Phoenix got 16 points from Chris Paul and another 14 points from Deandre Ayton. Mikal Bridges contributed 4 assists, while Deandre Ayton cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Charlotte got 30 points from Devonte' Graham in a losing cause and another 22 points from Terry Rozier. Cody Martin contributed 4 assists for the Hornets, while Miles Bridges had 12 rebounds.
Charlotte won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 52-50.
Phoenix heads into a battle against the Hawks. Charlotte, meanwhile, will have their next action against Washington.
