Deandre Ayton scored 26 points and added 11 rebounds for a double-double, leading Phoenix over Sacramento, 122-114, on Thursday at PHX Arena.

Phoenix did not, however, defeat the Kings against the spread, which closed at -12.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 235.0.

Devin Booker had 23 points for Phoenix and Jevon Carter chipped in with 13 points. Chris Paul had 11 assists for the Suns, while Deandre Ayton was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.

Sacramento got 27 points from De'Aaron Fox in a losing cause and another 24 points from Buddy Hield. De'Aaron Fox contributed 8 assists for the Kings, while Hassan Whiteside had 10 rebounds.

The Suns hit the break winning 67-65 before taking care of business in the second half.
