Recap - Pelicans Defeat Oklahoma City 109-95

Oklahoma City was scorched by Zion Williamson for 27 points as the Pelicans defeated the Thunder 109-95 in NBA action on Thursday.

New Orleans got 24 points from Brandon Ingram and another 13 points from Willy Hernangomez. Lonzo Ball contributed 6 assists, while Lonzo Ball cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Oklahoma City got 17 points from Luguentz Dort in a losing cause and another 16 points from Theo Maledon. Theo Maledon contributed 4 assists for the Thunder, while Moses Brown had 18 rebounds.

The Pelicans hit the break winning 60-43 before taking care of business in the second half.

New Orleans had a 56-53 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, New Orleans takes its act on the road to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Oklahoma City, they head home to face Indiana.
