Cleveland Falls 104-89 to Warriors - Recap
The Cavaliers were burned for 40 points by Stephen Curry on Thursday as the Warriors picked up a 104-89 win at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Golden State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -9.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 208.5.
Golden State got 14 points from Nemanja Bjelica and another 12 points from Andrew Wiggins. Draymond Green contributed 14 assists, while Damion Lee cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Cleveland got 25 points from Darius Garland in a losing cause and another 17 points from Dean Wade. Dean Wade contributed 5 assists for the Cavaliers, while Ed Davis had 14 rebounds.
Golden State trailed at halftime, 54-51.
Cleveland had a 42-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Golden State takes its act on the road to face Detroit looking for another win. For Cleveland, they head home to face Brooklyn.
