Houston Falls 131-106 to Spurs - Recap

The battle between the Spurs and Rockets didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Houston was handed a 131-106 defeat on Friday at AT&T Center.

The Spurs were a -8.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 236.5.

Keldon Johnson had 28 points for San Antonio and Jakob Poeltl chipped in with 21 points. Dejounte Murray had 11 assists for the Spurs, while Jakob Poeltl was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

The Rockets got a 23-point performance from Josh Christopher, who was supported by 18 points from Alperen Sengun. Josh Christopher had 4 assists in a losing cause for Houston, while Christian Wood grabbed 11 rebounds.

San Antonio led at halftime, 57-54.

San Antonio won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-35.

San Antonio looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Cavaliers. The Rockets will aim to get back on the winning track vs. New Orleans.
