Phoenix Defeats Orlando 102-99 - Recap

Phoenix got 21 points and 19 rebounds from Deandre Ayton en route to a 102-99 victory over Orlando on Tuesday at Amway Center.

Phoenix won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -6.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 221.5.

Landry Shamet had 21 points for Phoenix and Cameron Payne chipped in with 18 points. Cameron Payne had 12 assists for the Suns, while Deandre Ayton was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 19 boards.

The Magic got a 20-point performance from Wendell Carter Jr., who was supported by 12 points from Moritz Wagner. Cole Anthony had 5 assists in a losing cause for Orlando, while Mo Bamba grabbed 15 rebounds.

Phoenix led at halftime, 53-43.

Orlando won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 53-52.

Phoenix looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Heat. The Magic will aim to get back on the winning track at New Orleans.
