New York Knicks vs Phoenix Suns Recap - Suns Win 116-95

The battle between the Suns and Knicks didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as New York was handed a 116-95 defeat on Sunday at Footprint Center.

Phoenix won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 226.5.

Phoenix got 21 points from Cameron Payne and another 20 points from Devin Booker. Cameron Payne contributed 9 assists, while Deandre Ayton cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

New York got 27 points from Jalen Brunson in a losing cause and another 12 points from RJ Barrett. Quentin Grimes contributed 8 assists for the Knicks, while Julius Randle had 6 rebounds.

The Suns hit the break winning 55-53 before taking care of business in the second half.

Phoenix had a 60-39 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Phoenix takes its act home to face Los Angeles looking for another win. For New York, they head on the road to face Oklahoma City.
