Phoenix Defeats Charlotte 128-97 - Recap

The battle between the Suns and Hornets didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Charlotte was handed a 128-97 defeat on Tuesday at Footprint Center.

The Suns were a -7.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 223.0.

Phoenix got 24 points from Cameron Johnson and another 19 points from Dario Saric. Chris Paul contributed 11 assists, while Bismack Biyombo cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.

The Hornets got a 19-point performance from Terry Rozier, who was supported by 17 points from Mason Plumlee. Terry Rozier had 5 assists in a losing cause for Charlotte, while Jalen McDaniels grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Suns hit the break winning 58-47 before taking care of business in the second half.

Phoenix looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Mavericks. The Hornets will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Chicago.
