Los Angeles Falls 133-110 to Thunder - Recap
The battle between the Thunder and Lakers didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Los Angeles was handed a 133-110 defeat on Thursday at Paycom Center.
The Thunder were a -5.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 235.0.
Oklahoma City got 33 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and another 21 points from Jalen Williams. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander contributed 7 assists, while Josh Giddey cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Los Angeles got 31 points from Anthony Davis in a losing cause and another 21 points from LeBron James. D'Angelo Russell contributed 10 assists for the Lakers, while Anthony Davis had 14 rebounds.
The Thunder hit the break winning 72-60 before taking care of business in the second half.
Oklahoma City won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 48-41.
Oklahoma City heads into a battle against the Mavericks. Los Angeles, meanwhile, will have their next action against Houston.
