Portland State Falls 85-66 Against BYU - Game Recap

TJ Haws went off for 30 points and added 3 rebounds leading BYU to a 85-66 win over Portland State on Wednesday at Marriott Center.

BYU was the ATS victor, as they covered the -14.5-point spread as a favorite.

Yoeli Childs had 13 points for BYU and Zac Seljaas chipped in with 11 points. Nick Emery had 6 assists for them, while Yoeli Childs was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6 boards.

Portland State got 14 points from Derek Brown in a losing cause and another 12 points from Sal Nuhu. Holland Woods contributed 5 assists for them, while Sal Nuhu had 8 rebounds.

BYU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Portland State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 46-28.

Next game, BYU takes its act home to face UNLV looking for another win. For Portland State, they head home to face Loyola Marymount.
