Recap - Campbell Defeats Gardner-Webb 72-61
Chris Clemons went off for 27 points and added 5 rebounds leading Campbell over Gardner-Webb, 72-61, on Saturday at Pope Center.
Jordan Whitfield had 13 points for Campbell and Andrew Eudy chipped in with 11 points. Andrew Eudy had 5 assists for them, while Andrew Eudy was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Gardner-Webb got 18 points from David Efianayi in a losing cause and another 15 points from Jose Perez. Jose Perez contributed 3 assists for them, while Daniel Laster had 10 rebounds.
Campbell was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Gardner-Webb won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-32.
Campbell looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Winthrop. Gardner-Webb will aim to get back on the winning track vs. USC Upstate.
