BYU Downs Portland 79-56 - Match Report
The battle between BYU and Portland didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Portland was handed a 79-56 defeat on Thursday at Marriott Center.
BYU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -17.0-point spread as favorites.
Yoeli Childs had 28 points for BYU and McKay Cannon chipped in with 11 points. TJ Haws had 7 assists for them, while Yoeli Childs was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.
Portland got 14 points from Franklin Porter in a losing cause and another 10 points from JoJo Walker. JoJo Walker contributed 3 assists for them, while Theo Akwuba had 7 rebounds.
BYU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
