Kentucky Defeats Vanderbilt 56-47 - Recap
Kentucky got 15 points from Ashton Hagans en route to a 56-47 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday at Rupp Arena.
Kentucky did not, however, defeat Vanderbilt against the spread, which closed at -13.0 at most sportsbooks.
Kentucky got 15 points from Keldon Johnson and another 12 points from Immanuel Quickley. Ashton Hagans contributed 4 assists, while Reid Travis cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Vanderbilt got 11 points from Aaron Nesmith in a losing cause and another 9 points from Saben Lee. Saben Lee contributed 2 assists for them, while Joe Toye had 6 rebounds.
Kentucky was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Kentucky won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-20.
Kentucky looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Georgia. Vanderbilt will aim to get back on the winning track vs. South Carolina.
