Southeast Missouri State Falls 85-83 to Eastern Kentucky - Recap

Eastern Kentucky grabbed a 85-83 win over Southeast Missouri State on Saturday, behind a 24-point effort from Nick Mayo at Paul S. McBrayer Arena.

Eastern Kentucky did not, however, defeat Southeast Missouri State against the spread, which closed at -7.5 at most sportsbooks.

Jomaru Brown had 17 points for Eastern Kentucky and Tre King chipped in with 10 points. Nick Mayo had 4 assists for them, while Nick Mayo was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

Southeast Missouri State got 20 points from Skyler Hogan in a losing cause and another 14 points from Ledarrius Brewer. Nygal Russell contributed 5 assists for them, while Gabe McGlothan had 6 rebounds.

Eastern Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
