East Carolina Defeats Tulane 66-65 - Recap
Jayden Gardner scored 15 points leading East Carolina to a 66-65 victory over Tulane at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum on Thursday.
East Carolina earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -5.0-point spread.
East Carolina got 13 points from Seth LeDay and another 11 points from Isaac Fleming. Isaac Fleming contributed 6 assists, while Jayden Gardner cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Tulane got 17 points from Caleb Daniels in a losing cause and another 14 points from Kevin Zhang. Jordan Cornish contributed 5 assists for them, while Moses Wood had 8 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Tulane were victorious, as the score was 33-30 at the break.
Tulane had a 40-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, East Carolina takes its act on the road to face Connecticut looking for another win. For Tulane, they head home to face Temple.
