Tulane Falls 72-64 to Tulsa - Recap
Tulsa got 19 points from Martins Igbanu en route to a 72-64 victory over Tulane on Thursday at Reynolds Center.
Tulsa earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -11.5-point spread.
Tulsa got 19 points from Curran Scott and another 9 points from Sterling Taplin. Elijah Joiner contributed 4 assists, while Jeriah Horne cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Tulane got 20 points from Caleb Daniels in a losing cause and another 14 points from Samir Sehic. Moses Wood contributed 4 assists for them, while Caleb Daniels had 10 rebounds.
Tulsa had a 36-32 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Tulsa takes its act home to face East Carolina looking for another win. For Tulane, they head on the road to face Temple.
