Rutgers Falls 66-65 Against Penn State - Game Recap

Lamar Stevens scored 18 points leading Penn State to a 66-65 victory over Rutgers at Louis Brown Athletic Center on Wednesday.

Penn State earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -1.5-point spread.

Myreon Jones had 13 points for Penn State and Rasir Bolton chipped in with 11 points. Rasir Bolton had 3 assists for them, while Mike Watkins was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 14 boards.

Rutgers got 23 points from Eugene Omoruyi in a losing cause and another 14 points from Ron Harper Jr.. Ron Harper Jr. contributed 3 assists for them, while Myles Johnson had 11 rebounds.

Penn State led at halftime, 37-20.

Penn State had a 43-41 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Penn State takes its act home to face Illinois looking for another win. For Rutgers, they head on the road to face Indiana.
