Recap - New Mexico Defeats University of the Southwest 103-47

New Mexico cruised to victory on Sunday, running University of the Southwest out of the gym and running up a 103-47 score at Maddox Student Life Center.

New Mexico got 18 points from Anthony Mathis and another 16 points from Vance Jackson. Drue Drinnon contributed 12 assists, while Karim Ezzeddine cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

University of the Southwest got a 14-point performance from Josh Harris, who was supported by 8 points from Akeem Black. John Paul Garcia had 3 assists in a losing cause for University of the Southwest, while Chamar Norman grabbed 6 rebounds.

New Mexico was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

New Mexico had a 53-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
