TCU vs Southwestern Final: 83-62 - Recap
The battle between TCU and Southwestern didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Southwestern was handed a 83-62 defeat on Thursday at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena.
TCU got 26 points from Desmond Bane and another 17 points from Kevin Samuel. RJ Nembhard contributed 5 assists, while Kevin Samuel cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Southwestern got a 28-point performance from Brandon Alexander, who was supported by 12 points from Luke Hicks. Kyle Howard had 6 assists in a losing cause for Southwestern, while Kyle Howard grabbed 5 rebounds.
TCU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
TCU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-28.
