The battle between Coastal Carolina and Hampden-Sydney didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Hampden-Sydney was handed a 102-66 defeat on Friday at HTC Center.
Tyrell Gumbs-Frater had 24 points for Coastal Carolina and Garrick Green chipped in with 24 points. DeVante Jones had 7 assists for them, while Garrick Green was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Hampden-Sydney got 20 points from Jack Wyatt in a losing cause and another 17 points from Jake Hahn. Jake Hahn contributed 2 assists for them, while Jake Hahn had 8 rebounds.
Coastal Carolina was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
