Saint Peter's Falls 68-47 Against Providence - Game Recap
Saint Peter's was run off the court by Providence on Saturday as they blasted them 68-47 at Dunkin' Donuts Center.
Providence did not, however, defeat Saint Peter's against the spread, which closed at -28.5 at most sportsbooks.
Providence got 17 points from David Duke and another 15 points from Alpha Diallo. Luwane Pipkins contributed 7 assists, while Alpha Diallo cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Saint Peter's got 10 points from Matthew Lee in a losing cause and another 6 points from Nazeer Bostick. Aaron Estrada contributed 2 assists for them, while Majur Majak had 7 rebounds.
Providence was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Providence had a 32-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Providence heads into a battle against Merrimack. Saint Peter's, meanwhile, will have their next action against Wagner.
