Recap - Penn State Defeats Yale 58-56

Penn State got 15 points from Izaiah Brockington as they ran past Yale 58-56 on Saturday at Bryce Jordan Center.

Penn State did not, however, defeat Yale against the spread, which closed at -15.0 at most sportsbooks.

Penn State got 13 points from Lamar Stevens and another 13 points from Myles Dread. Myreon Jones contributed 4 assists, while Lamar Stevens cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.

Yale got a 24-point performance from Azar Swain, who was supported by 12 points from Paul Atkinson. Paul Atkinson had 3 assists in a losing cause for Yale, while Jordan Bruner grabbed 9 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Yale were victorious, as the score was 31-22 at the break.

Penn State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-34.

Penn State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Mississippi. Yale will aim to get back on the winning track at Western Michigan.
