Recap - Rutgers Defeats NJIT 85-58
NJIT was run off the court by Rutgers on Tuesday as they blasted them 85-58 at Louis Brown Athletic Center.
Rutgers got 25 points from Ron Harper Jr. and another 17 points from Myles Johnson. Paul Mulcahy contributed 7 assists, while Myles Johnson cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
NJIT got 13 points from Kjell de Graaf in a losing cause and another 11 points from San Antonio Brinson. Souleymane Diakite contributed 4 assists for them, while Kjell de Graaf had 5 rebounds.
Rutgers was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Rutgers as they grabbed 32 boards, while NJIT only had 22
Rutgers heads into a battle against UMass. NJIT, meanwhile, will have their next action against Army.
