Kentucky vs UAB Final: 69-58 - Recap
Kentucky got 16 points from Nick Richards as they ran past UAB 69-58 on Friday at Rupp Arena.
Kentucky did not, however, defeat UAB against the spread, which closed at -19.5 at most sportsbooks.
Kentucky got 16 points from EJ Montgomery and another 9 points from Immanuel Quickley. Ashton Hagans contributed 12 assists, while Nick Richards cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
UAB got a 19-point performance from Tyreek Scott-Grayson, who was supported by 19 points from Jalen Benjamin. Tyreek Scott-Grayson had 4 assists in a losing cause for UAB, while Makhtar Gueye grabbed 5 rebounds.
Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Kentucky won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-24.
Kentucky looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Fairleigh Dickinson. UAB will aim to get back on the winning track at Texas.
