Shorter was run off the court by Troy on Saturday as they blasted them 104-53 at Trojan Arena.
Troy got 19 points from Davion Thomas and another 13 points from Ty Gordon. KJ Simon contributed 5 assists, while Davion Thomas cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Shorter got a 10-point performance from Jay Shropshire, who was supported by 9 points from Ricky Knight. Ricky Knight had 4 assists in a losing cause for Shorter, while Keeving Etienne grabbed 6 rebounds.
