Louisiana-Lafayette Falls 77-65 to Arizona State - Recap
Romello White scored 19 points leading Arizona State to a 77-65 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette at Wells-Fargo Arena on Saturday.
Arizona State did not, however, defeat Louisiana-Lafayette against the spread, which closed at -16.5 at most sportsbooks.
Arizona State got 17 points from Rob Edwards and another 15 points from Remy Martin. Remy Martin contributed 4 assists, while Romello White cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Louisiana-Lafayette got 16 points from Mylik Wilson in a losing cause and another 16 points from Cedric Russell. Trajan Wesley contributed 4 assists for them, while Mylik Wilson had 8 rebounds.
Arizona State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Arizona State had a 39-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
