Gardner-Webb cruised to victory on Thursday, running Bob Jones University out of the gym and running up a 94-70 score at Paul Porter Arena.
Gardner-Webb got 25 points from Jose Perez and another 21 points from Eric Jamison Jr.. Jaheam Cornwall contributed 9 assists, while Jose Perez cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Bob Jones University got 18 points from Nate Ellenwood in a losing cause and another 12 points from Jayson Barnhart. Nate Ellenwood contributed 6 assists for them, while Kendall Norrington had 5 rebounds.
Gardner-Webb was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
