Loyola-Maryland was run off the court by VCU on Sunday as they blasted them 85-51 at Stuart Siegel Center.
VCU got 15 points from Nah'Shon Hyland and another 15 points from De'Riante Jenkins. Nah'Shon Hyland contributed 5 assists, while Marcus Santos-Silva cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Loyola-Maryland got 30 points from Andrew Kostecka in a losing cause and another 7 points from Cam Spencer. KaVaughn Scott contributed 4 assists for them, while Andrew Kostecka had 8 rebounds.
VCU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
VCU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-28.
VCU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Fordham. Loyola-Maryland will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Holy Cross.
