Portland State Falls 72-61 Against Idaho - Game Recap
Trevon Allen scored 20 points leading Idaho to a 72-61 victory over Portland State at Cowan Spectrum at the Kibbie Dome on Thursday.
Idaho was the ATS victor, as they covered the +6.5-point spread as an underdog.
Idaho got 13 points from Scott Blakney and another 9 points from Marquell Fraser. Marquell Fraser contributed 4 assists, while Jack Wilson cleaned the glass with 5 rebounds.
Portland State got a 13-point performance from Matt Hauser, who was supported by 10 points from Holland Woods. Holland Woods had 6 assists in a losing cause for Portland State, while Alonzo Walker grabbed 13 rebounds.
Idaho was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Portland State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-28.
Next game, Idaho takes its act home to face Montana State looking for another win. For Portland State, they head on the road to face Eastern Washington.
