Army cruised to victory on Wednesday, running Lafayette out of the gym and running up a 94-74 score at Kirby Sports Center.
Army got 23 points from Matt Wilson and another 21 points from Lonnie Grayson. Tommy Funk contributed 11 assists, while Alex King cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Lafayette got 18 points from Lukas Jarrett in a losing cause and another 17 points from Tyrone Perry. Lukas Jarrett contributed 4 assists for them, while Myles Cherry had 9 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Army were victorious, as the score was 43-31 at the break.
Lafayette had a 32-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
